Job Title: Enterprise Operations Messaging Engineer
Job Description: Location: Richmond, VA / 6+ Months Contract

Client is seeking an Enterprise Operations Messaging Engineer. The position will maintain operational excellence of multi-user Enterprise Messaging service environment, including coordination with other administrators and towers.

Local candidates strongly preferred
Must be available for face to face interview, NO exceptions.

Description:
  • The candidate will provide assistance to customers and support technologies such as Microsoft Exchange and all adjunct services.

  • The qualified candidate should also have strong understanding of the following involved components: AirWatch, IronPort, BES, ListServ, Hosted Mail Archives, CRES and eDLP.

  • Exchange related tasks to include but not be limited to:

  • Standard Operating Procedure Documents, Knowledge Base Articles, How to Documents, Risk and Issue Logs, Root Cause Analysis Documents, Work Instructions, Task Schedules and Calendars.

  • VMware Service Queue Manager - Ticket routing, assignment, escalation and monitoring. Service Level Agreement maintenance and tracking.

  • Calendar updates, Timesheet submission, Annual Training Requirements, Professional Development.

  • Able to identify/troubleshoot/resolve related issues within Service Level Agreement timeframes.

Associates’ degree
  • 2+ years of working experience with Microsoft Exchange and adjunct services

  • 2+ years of working experience with IronPort (Email Security Appliances)

  • 2+ years of working experience with Hosted Mail Archives

  • 2+ years of Mobile Device Management console experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • 5+ years of working experience with Microsoft Active Directory and domain services.

  • 5+ years of working experience with Microsoft Exchange and adjunct services

  • 5+ years of Mobile Device Management console experience.

  • Lync 2013 troubleshooting experience.

  • Any current Microsoft or Information Technology Certifications.

  • ITIL Foundations Certified

  • The candidate must have good decision making skills and have the ability to evaluate and implement solutions.
