Job Description: Location: Roanoke,VA / Contract to hire.

Need a skilled Technical Support Technician to support the client, which is a long term medical facility that has about 150 IT devices (desktops, laptops, and printers).

Local candidates strongly preferred.
Must be available for face to face, NO skype, NO exceptions.

Skills Needed:
  • 3 Years of experience in setup, configuration, and maintenance of PC desktops, laptops, and related peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.) required.

  • 3 Years of experience in supporting and installing Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office suite, Internet Browsers, Anti-Virus and other computer software required.

  • 3 Years of experience in setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of Android and Apple mobile devices required.

  • 3 Years of experience in supporting and troubleshooting Ethernet based LAN/WAN environments, including network protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) required.

  • 3 Years of experience in basic/advanced features in Google E-mail and Exchange E-mail (PST files, calendaring, distribution lists, etc.) required.

  • 3 Years of experience in professional and courteous attitude with customers, team members, and vendors; and has the ability to communicate clearly and effectively required.

  • 3 Years of experience in excellent customer service skills and is teamwork oriented required.

  • 3 Years of experience in excellent problem solving skills and has the ability to utilize available resources to assess/resolve problems in a timely manner required.

  • 3 Years of experience in good organization and time management skills required.

  • 3 Years of experience in ability to create documentation on technical issues and solutions that are easy to understand required.

  • 3 Years of experience in ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and able to perform repetitive motion to include standing, sitting, reaching, lifting, walking, bending, and climbing required.

Description:
  • The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded skill set to include solid networking and cabling experience.

  • Will assist client IT Management with integration, management, and support of the Information Technology program for the client.

  • Will independently provide IT administration and technical support for agency specific software and hardware systems.
