Location: Richmond, VA/ 12+ Months Contract
Manage software implementation, integration, development or upgrade projects ranging from $100k to $1M, covering platforms such as web, cloud, mobile, GIS, financial systems, customer systems and SCADA. Projects may include outside vendors and PM manages those contracts. Mostly waterfall methodology, but frequently run projects as Agile, where appropriate. Individual PM will run 3-5 projects. Experienced managing projects in large corporate or enterprise environments. Proficient with Microsoft Project. MS Project Online and SAP experience are beneficial.
Local candidates strongly preferred.
Only Green Card and US Citizen required
Education/Licenses:
- PMP preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Remote Policy: Currently working remotely, but as we return to work, we will expect contractors to spend time in the office.
- Local Candidates Highly Preferred: If non local, then candidate would need to cover the costs of relocating and would be expected to be in Richmond 40 hours a week, 5 , 8, once we return to work.
- Work Hours: Estimated 5 Days/8 Hours per day.
Top Must Have Skills:
- Strong project leadership & ownership.
- Effective communicator.
- Robust working knowledge of PMI / PMBOK project management processes.
Top Nice Have Skills:
- Experience with SAP.
- Knowledge of earned value analysis.
- Experience with Scrum / Agile methodologies.
