The client is seeks an intermediate-level project/program manager to join our team to serve as the Consultant Coordination Project Manager in support of the execution of our NextGEN project. The NextGEN project will migrate the Board’s legacy human capital management (HCM), financials, and procurement enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to Cloud-based systems.

  • The candidate shall demonstrate real-work experience managing complex projects, specific tasks, able to multi-task, and has shown the ability to successfully coordinate a project team with members across several organizations.

  • This Consultant Coordination Project Manager will have to interact with multiple Board organizations and teams as well as other contracted support staff.

  • It is expected that throughout the lifespan of the NextGEN project, the Board will onboard/offboard over 75 consultants.

  • The primary responsibility of this Consultant Coordination Project Manager is to ensure that all aspects and logistics of NextGEN consultant onboarding/offboarding are properly coordinated between various stakeholders, sequenced appropriately, and completed in a timely manner to ensure for project success.

  • The candidate will be responsible for helping to create and maintain the onboarding/offboarding playbook which documents the end-to-end process.

  • The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that NextGEN project consultants complete all Board-mandatory trainings as scheduled.

  • The candidate may be asked to review timesheets against project hours and perform regular review of Board data loss prevention reports.

  • The candidate may be asked to provide assistance and backfill capability for the NextGEN project manager in the event of an absence and/or partner with the NextGEN project manager as surge requirements may dictate.

  • PMI certification in project management is desired.

  • Experience working with Smartsheet or similar collaboration and work management solution is desired.

  • Experience managing and administering a content management and collaboration platform such as Intralinks is desired.

Requirements:
  • The candidate shall possess the knowledge and skills set forth in Intermediate Project Manager, with the following set of specific knowledge and experience:

  • At least six (6) years of experience as a project manager.

  • Experience managing budget, manpower, resource planning, and project reporting.

  • Experience evaluating complex procedures, processes, techniques, and models and ensuring project team performance is in alignment with program expectations.

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills who can work with people at various levels of the organization
